Food Animals, A New Collection Coming This Spring

Hi, guys! I hope for a lovely Easter to all of you. This spring/summer I'm coming up with a new collection: Food Animals. They have been quite popular via the internet and social media, so I've decided to hop on the bandwagon. And for some reason, they've become a craze to me at the moment. As you can see in the image cover, the possibilities are just endless.

Amigurumi plushies are already available on my website: Caramel Apple Crab, and Lemon Whale (the S'more Ghost doesn't count, because it's not really an animal). They're both currently available as amigurumi plushies, but I hope to release a crochet pattern of them sometime in the near future.

However, what's definitely coming up for this spring are my Pancake Animals. They'll be available in a set of three: a cat (plain buttercat), a bunny (chocolate strawbunny) and a dog (blueberry dalmatian). I plan to host a crochet pattern tester call of the three pancakes, after my Easter break at the end of April 2026, so stay tuned.

But my potentially biggest project of all, is my set of eight different ice cream animals. I've never done a set this big, and I don't know what to expect. But I'm still excited to make them, because they're so many different designs. I'm making sure that they're low-sew as well, so that they can be beginner friendly, when they're released as a pattern. Hopefully, they'll be available as amigurumi plushies by the early summer.

So that's my plan for spring/summer 2026! My plan for this year is still focused on more crocheted accessories, so I'll continue to keep making patterns of them.
